There's a G3 and a Class 2 as highlights of the card on the closing day of 2019 racing in Hong Kong.

There's only 7 runners in the 1000m Sprint.  Thanks Forever is on top of the market at 2.3 but while he has won over this course and distance 3 times he hasn't done so well of late.  However his track work has been OK and Silvestre de Sousa rides for John Moore. 2.3 the current quote.

Big Party ran a great 1200m at Happy Valley recently and comes into this on 4.1 so he's our pick along with Jolly Banner who is trying to win this race for the second time in 2019 as he won the January 6 edition.

Joao Moreira isn't riding as he has the flu.

The Chek Keng Class 2 over 1650m on the AWT and Elusive State is the worthy favourite on 3.1.  The problem is if he wins he will go up in the ratings and there won't be any suitable dirt races in Hong Kong.  Buddies looks promising on 6.0, Glorious Artist (who ran in the Korea Cup in September) on 7.6 although Lor says he would be better over a longer trip.  Two to play with are Raging Blitzkreig and Playa del Puente both on 11.0.
