Bob Baffert saddled three runners in the Santa Ynez Stakes at Santa Anita and they filed the first three placings.

The winner was Bast, who has now accumulated 34 points towards her entry in the Kentucky Oaks, with her stablemates Auberge and Golden Principal also potentially heading in the same direction.

On Friday Desert Song, a Fastnet Rock colt, won the San Gabriel G2 on the turf, beating the favoured Cleopatra's Strike with Majestic Eagle the third home.
