This is the G2 feature of Thursday's third Carnival meeting.

It's for f&m over 1600m on turf and there are 8 running.  Mick Halford's Surrounding is a very consistent girl who will have Ronan Whelan on board and in the UK they are fav at 11/4.

Godolphin field runners from both the Saeed bin Suroor and Appleby yards.  Beyond Reason and Magic Lily cone from the latter and Dubai Blue comes from the former and are around the 3/1 mark.

An interesting runner is Nisreen, a Raven's Pass owned by Team Valor who was with John Hammond and has now joined Hiroo Shimizu's yard.
