Saturday at Ascot the younger legs prevailed and Defi De Seuil put in some amazing jumps to take the race by 2 ¾ lengths and it looks like he'll be heading now to the Champions' Chase rather than the Ryanair.

The Mares' Hurdle saw Magic of Light repeat her win of last year by defeating Sensulano by 4 ¾ lengths with joint favourite Papagana ¾ length away in third.
