John Size saddled and Joao Moreira rode the winners of the two G1s at Sha Tin Sunday.
The Stewards' Cup saw Waikuku defy the odds-on G1 winner problem and produce an excellent finish to win over a game but no longer brilliant Beauty Generation. Ka Ying Star was behind them in third. Waikuku may now have a brief rest before being aimed at the Champions Mile in late April while Beauty Generation is on track to go to Dubai.
Beat The Clock has finished in the top 3 in all of his 24 starts, and Sunday saw him add another G1 to his CV in the Centenary Sprint with a great finish over front runner Thanks Forever. The winner's stablemate Hot King Prawn ran third, giving John Size a very fine day at the office.
