The Stewards' Cup saw Waikuku defy the odds-on G1 winner problem and produce an excellent finish to win over a game but no longer brilliant Beauty Generation.  Ka Ying Star was behind them in third.  Waikuku may now have a brief rest before being aimed at the Champions Mile in late April while Beauty Generation is on track to go to Dubai.

Beat The Clock has finished in the top 3 in all of his 24 starts, and Sunday saw him add another G1 to his CV in the Centenary Sprint with a great finish over front runner Thanks Forever.  The winner's stablemate Hot King Prawn ran third, giving John Size a very fine day at the office.

The get-out Race 99 went to Duke Wai from Beauty Applause and Computer Pack.
