Highlight of Thursday's card at Meydan is the G2 Al Fahidi Fort on turf over 1400m.

This looks like a "made in Godolphin" event as the first 4 in the market are all running in the Godolphin blue.  From the Appleby corner we have Mythical Magic 7/4 with William Buick on board and Glorious Journey 2/1 with James Doyle riding.  From the Saeed bin Suroor corner we have Royal Meeting on 4/1 with Christophe Soumillon in the irons.

As an appetiser we have the first of the Classics – the UAE 1000 Guineas which is a Listed race with 9 fillies lining up.  Most of these ran in the trial and therefore the first three home in that race top the market here – Final Song is on 4/6, Down On Da Bayou 4/1 and Rio Angle 5/1.
