With many tracks already heavy, Storm Dennis is expected to tip a lot more rain on to them so watch for inspections ahead of Saturday's racing.

Ascot will host the Gr 2 Reynoldstown Novices' Chase and the Gr 1 Ascot Chase.  In the first of these Pym is on 15/8, with Copperhead and Sam Brown both on 5/2. 6 to run.

The Ascot Chase has only got 4 runners and last year's winner Cyrname is 2/5 for this.  Riders Onthestorm (sounds appropriate) is expected to be the main challenger.

Haydock has already got a rating of heavy and if it gets more rain may be in doubt and if they go ahead there may be significant scratchings.  The Rendlesham Hurdle Gr 2 has 6 runners with The Worlds End on 9/4, L'Emitam 9/2 There's also the Albert Barlett Novices' Hurdle but we don't have a market for this as yet.

There's racing at Gowran Park but no markets or final fields so far.
