Christophe Lemaire is often busy setting records but I don't recall him having a 6-winner day in Japan until now.

It included one other Frankel product in addition to Mozu Ascot, the February Stakes winner, who added this G1 to the one he collected in 2018 on turf in the Yasuja Kinen.  He earns an entry into the Breeders' Cup but before that trainer Yahagi is keen to send him to Australia for the Doncaster on 4 April, which is back to turf.

Second home was K T Brave who started on 142.6, with a fast-finishing Sunrise Nova third and Wonder Lider on 28.0 was fourth.
