Danon Kingly wins Nakayam Kinen

There was no third win for Win Bright this year.

DANON KINGLY winning the Nakayama Kinen at Nakayama in Japan.

Instead it was the favourite Danon Kingly who come to the front and held of a challenge from the fast finishing pair of Lucky Lilac and Soul Stirring. Indy Champ was fourth with Win Bright just lacking a bit of finish.

There wasn't a great deal of difference between the runners and it will be interesting to see where they go next.

In Saudi Arabia Full Flat took out the Derby and will probably go to Dubai in the quest for a start in the Kentucky version. Deidre was second in her race to the fast-finishing Port Lions in the first race on turf in the Kingdom.
