Golden Sixty had to come from the rear of the field and didn't have the smoothest off passages yet was able to do the last 400m in 21.83 which is pretty amazing. At one stage it looked as Blake Shinn had pulled off an incredible coup when he brought Playa del Puente 289/1 steadily to the front from the rear from the 900m to be in the perfect spot to run away with the race round the turn, but that was until Golden Sixty loomed on the horizon and gave Vincent Ho the win of his lifetime! More Than This was 3l back in third followed by Savvy Nine. Butterfield was 6th and a bit unlucky – he will be in the frame soon.
We bombed the get-out Race 10 over 1400m. That went to Seattle Choice who started favourite, with Buddies a nice run in second and Assimilate third.
