Hong Kong racing at Sha Tin Sunday

3 minute read

Owners will still be able to attend on Sunday but after that is problematic.

While Sha Tin is a workplace for stable staff, jockeys, trainers and HKJC officials, after midnight tonight there is a ban on more than groups off 4 in public places.  The Club is an enthusiastic supporter of the Government's rules and regulations in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak and is trying to get some clarity as to how these incoming rules can be applied to owners of horses attending race meetings.

Sunday's feature is Race 10, a Class 2 over 1200m.  We like Duke Wai a lot and he's current favourite but 4.2 is reasonable.

Transcendent won his debut in Hong Kong after coming from Fabrice Chapel's yard in France and he's on 6.2.  Computer Patch has duelled with Duke Wai before and come off second best but he's been working a treat and who knows.

Our roughie here is Water Diviner on 10.0 for the Lui-Ho combination.
