Some top racing at Sha Tin this Sunday with the Chairman's Trophy and the Sprint Cup topping the bill.

The Chairman's Cup is over 1600m and has a relatively small field of 7 runners, but there is a lot of quality here.  Waikuku is coming back after winning the Stewards' Cup in January so the Chairman's Cup would be a nice segue.  He's also beaten Beauty Generation four times so this season the odds are in favour of Waikuku.  Joao Moreira has the ride for John Size and at present they are on 1.6, with Beauty Generation, who won this race last year, is on 3.1.  In as much as there can be a roughie in a 7 horse field we will put Fat Turtle on 31.1.

Race 5 is Class 1 Harlech Handicap over 2000m and it is a very tricky race.  At present Butterfield is on top on 3.8.  Eagle Way is on 11.0, Helene Charisma 12.0 and Fast Most Furious 13.0 so there could be value here.

Race 7 is the Sprint Cup and there are 8 runners with most of the interest being in the top two, Aethero and Hot King Prawn.  Aethero gets the 3yo's weight advantage and looks to be close to top form, although Moore has made no secret of his focus on the Champion's Sprint at the end of the month.  Hot King Prawn will also be heading in the same direction and he ran a sizzling trial recently.  Both are around the 2.0 mark.  We are leaning slightly towards the grey but not much in it.

Mr Stunning won this in 2017 and showed recently that there is still life in the old boy although he is heading towards retirement.  He's definitely going into our mutliples.

There's a forecast for rain in Hong Kong but the track drains so well it should not be a problem.
