Beauty Generation showed his top form in winning with a hand and heels ride from Zac Purton to cruise to the win with Ka Ying Star setting a very genuine pace.  Ka Ying Star stayed on for second and Southern Legend came through to take third.  Waikuku did not seem happy in the softer going and did not show his trademark kick.

The Sprint Cup was a big upset when Voyage Warrior went to the front and stayed there to outgun Hot King Prawn.  This was much to the delight off jockey Keith Yeung who hadn't ridden a winner for 138 days and with 171 days.  He said he was surprised when he went to the front and nobody came past him as he was more used to horses to seeing horses pass him.  Thanks Forever got the third money and the wonderful Mr Stunning finished a worthy fourth.  DB Pins will be retired at the end of the season.

The Class 1 Harlech Cup went to former South Australian Derby winner Helen Leadingstar who defeated favourite Butterfield by a nose. Moreira had to squeeze Butterfield through a very narrow gap and there were a few bumps around as a result with Helene Charisma also losing a bit of momentum.  He got third.
