There were so many noms for the Arkansas Derby 2020 it has been split into two races.

With the scratchings there are now 9 horses left in both races with Bob Baffert looking to saddle the favourite in both.

In the first division he saddles Charlatan who looks like starting even money favourite and Martin Garcia riding.  Gouveuneur Morris was one we fancied in the Florida Derby – he ran 4th – and he's on 9/2 for Todd Pletcher and John Velazquez.  Anneau d'Or is at 6/1 in the hopes that his last run can be ignored.

The second division see Nadal starting favourite at 5/2 which looks generous, followed by King Guillermo 3/1 and Well's Bayou 7/2.

In between these two races there is the Gr 2 Oaklawn Handicap for 4y+ over 1800m and has a full field of 14 and it is a very open affair.  Leading the market is Combatant on 4/1, then Tacitus is 9/2, By My Standards also on that quote and we think Baffert's Improbable is value on 8/1.
