Race 8 Class 2 and Race 9 Class one are the two features of the afternoon.

Unless you consider the jockey comp with Purton v Moreira a feature!

Race 8 is the Amethyst handicap over 1000m and Hong Kong Win is expected to break through and win after a couple of seconds.  Moreira rides this one for John Size and they are on 2.5.

It's almost a case for the sharp pin after that – we like Stronger on 7.4, Multimillion 7.8 and Baltic Success 11.0 for the multiples.

The Amber Handicap is over 1400m with another Size-Moreira runner Beauty Legacy fancied here on 3.4.  We like Buddies on 5.8, and will add Ballistic King 4.9, Decrypt 7.6 for the multiples.
