Racing had returned to the beautiful Iffezheim track and Sunday sees the running of a G3 and a G2 in the 12 race card.

The G3 is the Frühjahrespreis or Derby Trial over 2000m with a field of 10.  We don't have any markets so will rely on the trusty pin.  Toscano is by Youmzain and is trained by J-P Carvalho with Filip Minarik riding.  Soul Train is by Manduro out of the lovely mare Indochine, and is trained by Andres Wöhler with Murzabayev on board and Adrian, who will possibly start favourite, by Reliable Man and is the Grewe-Starke runner.

The G2 Grosser Preis der Badischen Wirtschaft is over 2200m with a field of 9.  Frau Steinberg saddles both Quest The Moon and Wak Kai Star and both could be in the finish as could Say Good Buy – Grewe-Starke.
