The date is correct, the venue different.

This race normally takes place at Epsom on Oaks Day but there is no Epsom or Oaks on the card this Friday.  The 2400m G1 will be run on the Friday of the Guineas Weekend.

There are 7 in the field and of course it is first up for varying lengths of time and 2400m a big ask without a warm-up. 

Ghaiyyath has the runs on the board and has only been off since Dubai so he comes in to this as top pick on 11/8 for Charlie Appleby and William Buick.  Stradivarius is a top stayer with a turn of foot and comes from the Gosden-Dettori sector 7/2.  Defoe was the Derby winner last year but 7/2 is a bit skinny.

Broome is one of the O'Brien runners and is our roughie on 11/1 with James Doyle on board.

The going should be great so it will be an interesting race.
