Aidan O'Brien's very smart Galileo filly Love was supreme in the 1000 Guineas.

Under a top ride from Ryan Moore she was able to release a great turn of foot and win by 4 ¼ lengths from Cloak of Spirits second and favourite Quadrileteral third by a head.

Love looks like being a strong favourite for the Oaks.

On Saturday Frankie Dettori was back in the Godolphin blue as he took favourite Terebellum to victory in the G2 Dahlia over 2000m, with Queen Power and Magic Lily filling the minors.

Kameko, who was a bargain buy for his owners, showed his true value when he won the 2000 Guineas.  The son of Kitten's Joy showed his appreciation for the good going as he stormed to the head of the field and kept on to finish ahead of Wichita and odd-on favourite

Pinaturbo.  There could be a question mark over Kameko continuing to the Derby as Andrew Balding thinks that the trip could be too far.  We shall see.
