There weren't many of them as the quarantine restrictions impact, but there was top quality.

The Jockey Club was a happy result for John Gosden who had sent Mishriff to Chantilly and booked veteran jockey Ioritz Mendizabal for the ride and into the history books they rode.  Favourite Victor Ludorum was not at his brilliant best and made the worst of starting from Gate 1.  The Summit was able to turn the tables on him and get the second money.  We were pleased to see Dawn Intello run a very nice race to finish fourth.  There was a protest from Pau Alto but the judges did not think that the interference from the winner would have cost him the race.

The Diane was an enormous result for 21yo Donnacha O'Brien who saddled Fancy Blue to win his first Classic. P-C Boudot was on board and gave the Irish runner a great ride, managing to just get in front of a gallant Alpine Star and a third Irish runner from O'Brien Sr Peaceful ran third.  Be interesting to see if they re-oppose in the Irish Oaks.
