It's been a season that the Hong Kong Jockey Club would probably describe as a shocker.

First there were the protests, then Covid-19 and then the protests again.

But there has been some good racing and there is a Class 1 and a Class 2 on the card for Sunday.

The Class 1 is Race 4 the Sha Tin Mile Trophy.  Douglas Whyte and Karis Teetan combine here with General's Delight who comes into this on top at 3.0.  He's been working well.  Fast Most Furious has also been working well and is on 3.5 for David Hall and Zac Purton.  Zac has gained the Champion Jockey title again.  There are only 8 runners here so we will just add Helene Leading Star to the mix for Tony Cruz and Joao Moreira.

The Class 2 is Race 9 the Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association's trophy Class 2 over 1400m with 9 runners.  We like chocolate and we like Amazing Chocolate here with Karis Teetan in the irons for Tony Millard.  He's been working well and comes in here on 4.5.

Current favourite is Beauty Applause on 3.1 for the Size-Moreira team, and Mongolian King is Zac Purton's mount on 5.8.

The season will wind up-at Happy Valley on Wednesday but without the usual shenanigans the normally accompany the end of season.

John Moore will close out his incredible time in Hong Kong and we are delighted to see that he wants to win at the Bong Bongs, and look forward to seeing him at Australia's second biggest day in racing!
