There were three G2 races on Sunday's card

First of these was the Airlie Stud Stakes for the 2yo fillies over 1200m and this was a surprise winner – Aloha Star by Star Spangled Banner started at 33/1 and got the win by a head from favourite Frenetic with Mother Earth close behind.

The Sapphire was over 1000m for the 3yos and no surprises here as the win went to A'Ali, trained by the Crisfords, from Make a Challenge.

Ger Lyons's horses are in great form and another Lemista won the Kilboy Estate by ¾ length to Lovelier with Dermot Weld's Kiss For a Jewel third at 22/1.
