On Galway's opening day it was Princess Zoe who won the feature race.

That was in the Connacht Hotel Premier Handicap.  She was however the only one of the fancied runners who made the frame as 2nd went to Run For Mary on 11/1 and 3rd Golden Spear at 66/1.

Tuesday's feature is the Colm Quinn BMW Mile Premier Handicap with 18 runners.  5/1 the field with the top of the market being Tauran Shaman -Jessica Harrington and Shane Foley – who is a course and distance winner.  The sharp pin came back for the other selections and they were Helvic Dream 8/1, Current Option 9/1 and San Pedro 16/1.
