Saturday saw some of the next crop of stars on parade

The two 2yo races were according to gender with the fillies in the debutante and the boys in the Futurity.

Joseph O'Brien's Pretty Gorgeous took the former in great style by a margin of 2 ½ lengths to Shale with Mother Earth a similar margin back in third.

Jim Bolger's Mac Swiney, a son of New Approach, won the boys contest starting at 28/1 with favourite Cadillac ½ length away and the same margin back to third Ontario.
