One of the nicest meetings of the year has just concluded.
It has been run without public (except occasionally for a limited number) and accompanied by more rain that is generally the case.
There was some excellent racing and success for those who managed to cope with the quarantine and other difficulties to come and raid.
The final day saw a heavy track and not too many upsets. The Prix Meatry saw Breathtaking Look get past long time leader Air de Valse to win in the closing stages. The Prix Quincy saw favourite Stunning Spirit make light of the track and win from We Ride The World.
Telecaster took out the Grand Prix with a 6 ½ lengths margin over Soft Light with Ziyad third and Red Verdon 4th.
So the bucket and spade go away for now. At least we won't have to put up with photos from Colleagues who could be there of their meals in Deauville!
