The Grosser-Woche wraps up this weekend and it is a busy one.
Friday saw Mark Johnston and Franny Norton capture the Oettingen-Rennen with Dark Vision by a nose from French raider Half Light. Rubaiyat and Runymede had a tight battle for third with Rubaiyat getting the third by a neck.
On Saturday it's the G2 von Zastrow Stutenpreis for the f&m over 2400 with 10 to go. Johnston and Norton will be hoping to do it again with Rose off Kildare – she's favourite on 5/2 with Virginia Joy on 3/1, Zamrud on 7/2 and we quite like Sunny Queen on 8/1.
Sunday sees the running off the Longines Grosser Preis von Baden Baden G1 over 2400m and a field off 8. Donjah is on 3/1 for Grewe and Clement Lecoeuvre, Toquator Tosso on 7/2 who as a 3yo has a weight advantage, and good old Barney Roy on 11/2 for Charlie Appleby and James Doyle.
