Saturday sees the running of the Beresford and Renaissance Stakes.

The former is G2 for the 2yos over 1600m with 15 starters. Aidan is producing another son of Galileo here in High Definition who is on 6/4 with Heffernan riding.  Ace Aussie by Australia from Jessica Harrington's yard and Wuqood by Dubawi from Weld's yard are both on 7/2.  Kevin Prendergast trains Monaasib on 8/1 with an interesting pedigree as he's by Bobby's Kitten.  There are some very interesting runners in this so have the black books handy.

The Renaissance is G3 over 1200m for 3y+ and has a field of 12.  We will forgive Summerghand and give him another chance here – he's o 15/8.  Urban Beat is trained by Johnny Murtagh and is on 4/1 and English raider Ventura Road is from Richard Fahey's yard and is 5/1.
