At Belmont on Saturday there was the Gr 2 Vosbsurgh over 1200m.

The best of the six runners was Firenze Fire who won in great style finishing 2 ¼ lengths in front of Funny Guy.

At Santa Anita on Saturday the Chandelier went to hot favourite Princess Noor in a race with only 5 runners and no real competition for the winner.

The Rodeo Drive Gr 1 on the turf went to Mucho Unusual 17/5 from Maximum Rate 3/1 and Lady Prancelot.  Bhodacitta was a non-runner.

The Gr 1 American Pharoah went to Get Her Number who found no problems in moving to the dirt after having her last two wins on turf.  Rombauer was second and Spielberg third.

Improbable defeated stablemate Maximum Security by 4 ½ lengths in the Gr 1 Awesome Again over 1800m.

We were delighted to see Harvest Moon win the Zenyatta from Hard Not To Love and favourite Fighting Mad third in the 5 runner contest.

The John Henry Turf Championship Gr 2 went to United from Originaire and Another Mystery 62/1.

And the Santa Anita Spring saw CZ Rocket act like a rocket and win by a head from Flagstaff with Collusion Illusion third of the 5 runners.
