The Tokyo Mainichi and Kyoto Daishoten are the two races in question.

And they will be run at the tracks in their names.  The Tokyo race is over 1800m with Salios an odds-on favourite with Christophe Lemaire riding for Hori-sensei.  The only other two in single figures are Daiwa Cagney 8.0 and Satano Impresa 8.5.  Zadar is just out of that range on 10.0.

The Kyoto race is over 2400m and is one of the lead-up races to the Japan Cup.  Kiseki is on 3.6, King of Koji 4.5, Stay Foolish 7.9, Glory Vase 8.1 and Danburite on 9.1 completes the list of horses at single-figure odds.
