In the 130th Velka Pardubicka Hegnus finally got his win.

He was second in 2018 and came unstuck at Taxis last year but this time all went well and under a patient ride from Lukas Matusky stayed well out of trouble until joining the front runners coming into the home straight.  He was blocked at one stage but managed to get out and finish in front with Player 1 ¾ lengths away in second and Vandual just a head further away in third.  Talent was ½ length away in fourth and Tzigane Du Berlais 13 lengths back in third.
