At Kyoto Sunday the Epiphaneia filly kept her record immaculate and is the first filly to collect the Triple Crown to do so.  She has now won five from five and looks like she will now head to the Japan Cup.

It wasn't a totally clear passage but at the 200m she had space to go forward and she did so in great style to win from Magic Castle, a Deep Impact filly who started on 56.9.  Third was Godolphin's Deep Impact filly Soft Fruit who blew the start and had to come from the rear of the field and produced the fastest last 600m to take third place.  She was on 54.7 and goes into our little black book as one to follow.  Pallas Athena on 81.1 was fourth.  Not much to say about the beaten brigade except that they were well beaten.
