This G2 is over 2500m, the same distance as the Arima Kinen and the Meguro Kinen.

And nothing else so you have to trust that the horses with good records over 2400m can get the extra distance.

You Can Smile is a very consistent horse and under Iwata-san should be able to get the trip but he is top weight on 58kgs so while he is favourite on 2.9 we think the 3yo Authority could be the go.  He's on 5.3 and Lemaire rides and he carries 54kgs which is a big help but he's coming back after 6 months off following surgery.

That leaves Sanrei Pocket on 6.0 and Satono Lux on 9.8 as the only runners on single figure odds.  We'll have a very little something on Authority if he stays at each-way odds.
