There's 6 overseas jockeys and 6 local jockeys competing on Wednesday.

The allocation of mounts has been re-jigged by the HKJC – we are not quite sure how it all works but most people seem happy with it.

However it has been worked it looks like Ryan Moore and Pierre-Charles Boudot seem to have done particularly well.

There are 4 races in the challenge which are races 4,5,7 and 8 on the card.  They horses are generally below the level we look at so we will go with what the market likes – plus the odd roughie or two.

Leg 1 has Very Sweet Orange and Tom Marquand on 3.0, Farm Bumper and Alex Badel on 6.5, Jazz Steed and P-C Boudot on 6.7 and Packing Champion and Ryan Moore on 9.9.  Roughie here is Oversubscribed and Karis Teetan on 12.0.

Leg 2 has Play Wise and Ryan Moore on 3.4, Maldives and Boudot on 4.8, Royal Racer and Joao Moreira on 5.8 and Fearless Fire and Zac Purton on 6.8.  Roughie here Regency Master and William Buick on 25.0.

Leg 3 has Smiling City and Moreira on 2.7, Reel Bizzy and Boudot on 3.9, Sunny Lad and Holly Doyle on 5.7, and Helene Wisdom Star and Karis Teetan on 8.3.  Roughie here is Hall of Champ and Vincent Ho on 21.0.

Leg 4 has Harmony N Blessed on 2.4 for Holly Doyle, Grateful Heart and Ryan Moore on 6.8, Lucky Quality and Alex Badel on 8.1 and Storm Warning and Boudot on 9.6.  Roughie here is Mehboob and Mickael Barzalona on 11.0.
