Hanshin Juvenile Fillies

3 minute read

Is of course at Hanshin on Sunday.

It's G1 over 1600m and in a country as polite as Japan of course it's "Ladies First" as the 2yo fillies race this Sunday and the boys next Sunday.

There's the potential here for a new super-glamor horse as Sodashi is white – not grey, white!  And does she looks stunning! She can run as well!  She's by Kurofune and is 3.1 in the Morning Line, having won her three starts to date.  There will be no trouble picking her out in the run.

Satono Reinas is by Deep Impact out of an Argentinian champions mare and she has also won her starts to date – only two of them with Sodashi having 3 wins to her name.  She is in the same stable as Almond Eye was until this week and Christophe Lemaire rides.  4.8.

Meikei Yell has also won her first three starts and is by Mikki Isle (must be his first crop).  Yutaka Take rides and she's on 5.6.

Maurice's daughter Infinite is on 7.4 if you want a fourth pick.

The record for this race was set by Vodka when she won this in 2006 before going on to a fabulous career.
