It's Arima Kinen weekend with a G1 at Nakayama today (the Arima Kinen is on Sunday) and a G2 at Hanshin.

At Nakayama we have the Hopeful Stakes for 2yo colts over 2000.  Land of Liberty is by Deep Impact and is a course and distance winner and has just moved into the black on 2.6.   Danon the Kid moved into second sport overnight and is now on 3.0 from 6.2 and the son of Just A Way is defending and unbeaten record.  Orthoclase is also unbeaten and this son of Epiphanea will have Lemaire on board and is on 5.4 from 2.9 so watch the betting.  Yoho Lake is on 10.0 – He's another Deep Impact and will be ridden by Yutaka Take.

At Hanshin it is the G2 Hanshin Cup over 1400m.  Indy Champ is odds-on here with generous odds for some of the other runners as a result.  Stelvio is on 7.8, Fiano Romano (by Fastnet Rock) is an Aussie interest and on 9.5 and Danon Fantasy has moved out into double figures from 7.5 to 13.3.
