Not a question of will Mullins win but which Mullins runner will win.

This was the case on Saturday in the Racing Post Novice Chase Gr 1 when the more-fancied Blackbow fell and the 8/1 shot Franco de Port came through to win for the stable.  Quite a good win too with 4 ½ l back to Darver Star in second and favourite Felix Desjy third.

On Sunday we can record that the "Only 4 more days until 2021" was won by the favourite French Aseel.  Watch for him in future with that wonderfully name race on his CV!

The Paddy's Rewards Club Chase Gr 1 saw Chacun Pour Soi put in a 6 ½ l margin between himself and Notebook.

Appreciate It filled the job description for the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle with a good win in only his second start over hurdles.  It was part of a treble on the day for Mullins and Paul Townend which of course included both Gr 1 races.  Irascible was the second home but by 9 lengths with Ballyadam only fourth.
