Metier has certainly found his metier as a flying mudlark!
At Sandown UK on Saturday he flew through the mud to win the Tolworth in another great display of jumping. Trainer Harry Fry said "I do think we have a very exciting hurdler" in a modest assessment of the race, which his stable star won by 12 lengths. It was a big cause for celebrations in Fry's new stables as that was the first big win for the new location.
Second home was Shakem Up'Arry, who will be moved to jumping over fences shortly.
Galice Makalo who was fancied in this ran out of puff about 200m from home.
