After the scheduled start date was abandoned this popular race was moved 2 weeks further on.

It's still not all clear as Chepstow is to have an inspection at some time on Friday UK time so here's hoping.

The race this year is being run in honour of Kim Gingell, Colin Tizzard's daughter who died of cancer last may when she was only 43.  She had been a great part of the Tizzard racing family and they have entered Christmas in April for the race.  It's up a bit in class but the horse has a light weight and is quoted at 9/1.  We wish the luck!

Actual favourite for the race is Secret Reprieve on 7/2 and Springfield Fox is on 15/2.  Our roughie here is Ramses de Teilee on 16/1.  There are 18 horses lining up for this.
