Beauty Generation will get a grand send-off as the champion winds up her life in Sha Tin and will head for Living Legends in Victoria, where she will encounter a few familiar(equine) faces.  Owner Patrick Kwok has promised to visit.

Race 5 is the Centenary Sprint G1 with 8 runners competing over the 1200m.  We have always liked the grey Hot King Prawn and will add our support although he's already favourite on 2.9 with Joao Moreira riding for John Size.

There's lots of arguments about the rest of the field and we are going for Fat Turtle on 14.0, Computer Patch 5.5 and Big Party on 28.0.

The Stewards' Cup over the 1600m has also got 8 runners and we cannot see why Golden Sixty should not continue his winning ways.  He's odds-on and that can be a problem in Hong Kong but we hope not this time.  That means he's the only one in single figures and lots of options for multiples.  We've gone for Waikuku on 14.0, Rise High on 13.0 and Ka Ying Star 17.0.

If you had been called "Eric The Eel" you would have been delighted when they changed your name to anything – in this case it is to "Tourbillon Diamond" and he has shown his appreciation by running a couple of nice races for the Shum-Badel team.  He's running in the HK Classic Mile, the opening race of the 4yo series.  While we are not sure that he can beat Sky Darci here the two are on 5.5 and 6.0, with Shadow Hero the favourite on 3.9.  Lucky Express also has his admirers and is on 8.6.

Race 9 is the Helene Paragon Cl. 2 over 1800m and we like Tianchi Monster here on 10.0 for Chris So and Antoine Hamelin.  He escaped our radar last time but hopefully not today.  The "Helene" horse here is Helene Leading Star on 7.8 but the favourite is Packing Waltham on 3.9 for Tony Cruz and Matthew Chadwick.  We have a bit of a roughie here in Charity Go on 14.0.
