The Tokyo G3 which was the Negishi Stakes on dirt over 1400m saw favourite Red Le Zele oblige with a bit of a surprise second in Wonder Lider on 45.7 with only a head separating them.  Time Flyer ran third.

At Chukyo the Silk Road over 1200m on the turf saw favourite Shivali finish 1 ¼ lengths ahead of Right on Cue for the win, with Lauda Sion only a head away in third.
