One of the two G1 races on the dirt in Japan, this will be run at Fuchu on Sunday.

With the top Dirt track horse Chuwa Wizard away in Saudi , the others get their chance.  Café Pharoah, by American Pharoah, will have Christophe Lemaire on board for the 1600m contest.  They are on top on 3.9.  There's a bit of a gap down to Red Le Zele on 5.9, and Sunrise Nova and Arctos keep juggling for third favouritism around the 7.0 mark.

Mixed fortunes for the Japanese runners in Riyadh.  Chuwa Wizard was only 9th in the Saudi Cup but they pay (quite handsomely) down to 12th.  Pink Kamehameha won the Saudi Derby starting on 20/1 with Kawada riding, and Copano Kicking and Matera Sky quinellad the Dirt Sprint.
