This provides the last chance for runners to make it into the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks fields.

The Derby is also name in honour of Curlin and one of his sons is in the field – Known Agenda, trained by Todd Pletcher with Irad Ortiz riding and they are currently third pick on 5/1.  The favourite is Greatest Honour (yes, spelt the English way) who is by Tapit and trained by Shug McGaughey and will be ridden by Jose-Luis Ortiz.  He's already in the Kentucky Derby field having won the Fountain of Youth and the Holy Bull.  Baffert's Spielberg, by Union Rags, is on 4/1 with Javier Castellano riding and Collaborate by Into Mischief is on 6/1.  Trained by Saffie Joseph he caught the eye with a stunning win in his maiden here and looks a promising type.  He will need to finish in the first two to have any hope of making it to Kentucky.  The points available are 100-40-20-10.

The Gulfstream Park Oaks only has 7 runners and is over 1700m.  The Laim's Map filly Crazy Beautiful is on 5/2 but we are leaning more towards Millefeuille on 7/2 and she also is by Curlin, with Pens Street on 9/2.  Similar points are available for the  Kentucky Oaks.
