The flat racing horses are starting off their new season and a few will be seen in the 2 G3s at the Curragh on Saturday.
The Gladness Stakes is over 1400m and has a field of 12. As to be expected the Ballydoyle horses are prominent and in this Lancaster House is on 7/2 for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore. Speak in Colours comes from son Joseph's yard with Shane Cross on board and they are on 9/2 and we will add Fiscal Rules on 10/1 for a bit of value – Jim Bolger trains and as usual Kevin Manning rides.
The Alleged Stakes is over 2000m with the field of 10 headed by our old friend Broome on 11/8 – Aidan and Ryan again. More open in the rest of the field with Joseph's Numerian on 7/1 with Declan McDonogh on board and Bowerman on 9/1 for Ado McGuiness and Ronan Whelan.
