The former Chilean champion showed his class in winning the last G1 of the racing year.
Trained by Tony Millard since coming to Hong Kong, he got a perfect ride from Karis Teetan to win from a fast-finishing Colombus County under Joao Moreira. Exultant was third and is looking at retirement as there can't be many options left for the former champion. Butterfield, a Brazilian bred, in the same ownership as Panfield finished fourth to make it a good afternoon for the South-American bred stayers
Earlier Courier Wonder got his fifth win from 5 starts to win the G3 Sha Tin Vase for Size-Moreira. Stronger ran second and Sky Field third giving us a rather nice trifecta.
