La Lune was bright in the sky and on the track

Trained by Henry Candy and ridden by David Probert, she won the G3 Pinnacle Stakes over a soft 2400m by 1 ¾ with favourite Cabaletta second.

The John of Gaunt went to Kinross 5/1 with Dettori on board the Beckett runner.  They finished 1 ¾ lengths of our tip Njord 8/1 with Glorious Journey Appleton-Buick getting a nice warm-up for Ascot.
