May not be up to some of the greatest fields but it's always interesting.

Aidan O'Brien has left just Bolshoi Ballet in this and following a stunning performance at home he comes into this as favourite.  He's a Galileo out of an Anabaa mare and will have Ryan Moore on board.

We have to confess a great sentimental attachment to John Leeper, named after John Dunlop and trained by son Ed.  He's by Frankel and (this is where our heart comes in) the wonderful Snow Fairy.  He's also progressing very nicely but as is the case with most of these Epsom will be a challenge.

Mac Swiney produced a great result in Ireland in the 2000 Guineas and has earned his place here for veteran trainer and jockey Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning.  He's on 13/2, as is another Frankel son Mahaafeth who hails from William Haggas's yard and will be ridden by Jim Crowley.

Hurricane Lane is our sort of roughie – a Godolphin from the Appleby stable with William Buick on board they are on 9/1.
