Two of the races will be on the All Weather Track including the feature Race 10.

That's the Carnation over the 1650m Class 2 (Carnation to do with the flower not the milk as the races are named after flowers).  It's featuring a few dirt specialists such as Elusive State for Millard-Moreira who seems to run either 4th or 1st in his races.  His trackwork has been good and he's currently on 15.0.  Glorious Artist is another who likes the dirt – Lor-Ho – and he's on 13.0.

John Size admits that the trip is longer than the optimum 1200m for Red Desert but that he likes the dirt and Size is hoping his horse will find the necessary extra stamina.  Antoine Hamelin rides and probably because of the stamina question they are on 21.0.

However the favourite is Hongkong Great, who has also worked well and with Zac Purton in the irons for Danny Shum.  They are on 2.7.
