And that was Deauville 2021

3 minute read

The focus in French racing will be well and truly on the Arc from now on.

Deauville's last Sunday saw the usual mixture of results.  In the Prix de Meautry Charlie Hills's Garrus under Iortiz Mendizabal prevailed at the expense of the favourite Duhail.  Coeur de Pierre was third at 9/1.

The Prix Quincy saw the Aga Khan's Dilawar emerge victorious winning by 2 ½ lengths from Now We Know and National Service.  Alpen Rose was disappointing.

And the Grand Prix de Deauville went to the Rouget trained Glycon who added another c&d to his CV, with The Good Man second and Sublimis third.
