Saturday saw the running of the G3 Goldener-Peitsche and the G2 von Zostrow Stutenpres.

The Goldener-Pietsche was a bit of an upset when it went to Kitty Marion, who started on 30/1 by a neck from Majestic Colt.  Manjeer 13/1 was third and Ainsdale fourth.

The G2 went to Waldbiene 12/1 by 1 ¼ lengths from Walkaway who got his nose in front of favourite Isfahani on the line.

Sunday is the big day with the running of the 88th Kronimus Oettingen Rennen G2 over 1600m with 9 runners.

Favourite here will probably be Jin Jin for Suborics-Pecheur as it looks as if Peter Schiergen is sending Novemba to Paris.  Liberty London is on 4/1 although these prices may change after the withdrawal of Novemba.  A roughie here is Flamingo Girl 16/1 for Henk Grewe and Andrasch Starke.

And the highlight of the week the 149th running of the Grosser-Preis von Baden G1 over 2400m with a field of 8.  Torquator Tasso has been consistent all season and comes into this on 7/4 for Marcel Weiss and Rene Piechulek.  Saeed bin Suroor is sending Passion And Glory here with Oisin Murphy to keep him company following a nice win at Goodwood.  Sisfahan is 7.2 for Henk Grewe and Clement Lecouevre.
