The Poule d'Essai des Pouliches G1 is the French 1000 Guineas and has 15 starters.

Cachet is going for the double with the English equivalent in her CV and she is 2/1 for George Boughey and James Doyle keeps the ride.

Best of the locals seems to be Roseacea from the Wattel yard with Theo Bachelot on board and they are 3/1, and Irish raider Toy  is 5/1 for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore.  Andre Fabre's runners are now going straight to the Oaks but we have 2 possible roughies in Wild Beauty and Mangoustine on 12/1.

There are 16 colts going round in the boy's race the Poule d'Essai des Poulains and Godolphin's Modern Games is 2/1 here for Appleby-Buick, with the Rouget runners Lassaut 9/2 and Walwal 7/1 and English raider Claymore is on 7/1 for Jane Chapple-Hyam and Adam Kirby.

There's also the G3 Prix Saint-Georges for the sprinters over that insane 1000m diagonally across the Longchamp track.  Suesa is a short-priced favourite from the 8 runners on 6/5 with Olivier Peslier riding this time for Rohault.  English raiders always have a show in this and top of those is Clarendon House with Hollie Doyle riding for Rob Cowell and they are on 4/1.  Berneuil is on 9/2 and our darling Air de Valse none the worse for her trip to Dubai on 13/2 with Ronan Thomas in the irons.
