Taiba, a colt by Gun Runner, didn't disappoint his fans.

With Mike Smith on board he put paid to the challengers led by Zandon with Cyberknife getting third.  9 ran.

The fillies went round in the Cotillion over 1700m and a slight upset here with the win going to Society 8/1 Asmussen-Geroux with Morning Matcha second on 5/1 and Secret Oath third.  Green Up had started favourite and finished fourth.

At Belmont at the Big A the Gr 2 Gallant Bloom saw favourite Kimari favourite win by 1 ¼ lengths to Lady Rocket.  5 ran.
